Our Biogeotrail is a specially curated activity with adventure & education in mind, that will take place around the unique ecological network of different natural settings within the enclave of Kubang Badak
Commence this expedition by departing from our fisherman's jetty & meander along our iconic Siamese River. Along the way, keep your eyes open for the shy & bold denizens of the mangrove areas that come in all sorts of shapes & sizes
Our first stop will be at an abandoned pre-war charcoal kiln. listen to the enigmatic myths that surrounds this time-forgotten ruins with a soundtrack exclusively provided by the orchestra of the wildlife playing in the back ground!
After that, the cruise will take you on a birdwatching sojourn with panoramic views of the breathtaking Matcincang Cambrient landscape. Get your cameras ready!
Observed the intricate relationship between the wildlife & the mangrove jungle, interwined with an traditional local fishing community, narrated in detail by your guide.
From there, make your way to Penang Cave to see its fossil collection of ancient sea creatures & geo-formation. Did you know that the Langkawi archipelago rose from the seabed during the Cambrian period more than half a billion years ago?
Continue the excursion with quick stopover at Tanjung Air Mendidih to see warm bubbles popping from underwater thermal springs, before proceeding out towards open seas for the last leg of our trial.
